[June 2008] Prior to the training, our lab Luke was your typical fun-loving, playful dog, but tended to get way too excitable when trying to go for walks, and had developed some bad barking habits. A quick two weeks of training and Luke is now a calm walker off-leash, has a much more even keel temperament. He is still the playful dog he always was, but is now consistently obedient, as opposed to only when he wanted to, and we can take him pretty much anywhere without worry! You can tell Luke is a much happier dog with the training, and is satisfied at the end of the day (as are we)! The training program was great... thank you, Keith!

Keith, thanks so much for your help today. Honestly I have to say I was really surprised. We deal with a lot of trainers being in rescue and none of them could have dealt with the dogs at my house in the calm humane way that you did today. We've seen all kinds from those who want to beat a dog into submission to those who think it's all about giving treats. I think your techniques can really help people within the rescue and adopters to understand that getting a dog to be a normal functioning, non-hazardous member of society is something everyone can do with good leadership and basic structure. Paw Placement appreciates your help . . . if there is anything we can do for you in return, please let me know.
Keith, wanted to let you know how pleased we are with all that Chili has learned from you. We were very worried before we brought Chili to you that he would be a little too rambunctious for our family. Little did we know that after a few weeks with you we would have a wonderful pet. While Chili is still a puppy, I can't explain the feeling of confidence we have in knowing that he will come, sit, and walk with us without getting distracted. It has made all the difference in the world and I can't thank you enough for all you've done to prepare Chili to be his best with us. In the paper I recently read about a rescue dog that was at first considered a lost cause but was making progress under a local dog trainer. I wasn't a bit surprised when I read further and discovered that trainer was you. I would encourage anyone who has and loves a dog but simply doesn't have the skill to train them to seek your services. I can tell them first hand they won't regret making that call! Wishing you continued success!
